Lorne is a recognized adult experiential educator whose been leading active learning experiences since 1993.
Lorne built a workshop to help people uncover and mitigate their unconscious biases. After leading hundreds of adults through this experience, demand for his work shot up and he created additional workshops to support professionals in mitigating unconscious biases throughout the organization.
His career in talent acquisition started in 1996 and gave him the opportunity to build companies in the U.S., India and Brazil by learning how to hire a diverse group of talented software developers, project managers, executives and others who form the backbone of the modern company.
Lorne is obtaining his Master's degree in Organizational Development and Knowledge Management at George Mason University.
Every week, he hosts The Lorne Epstein Show, where national experts share insights about the workplace. He is SHRM-SCP certified and a Lifetime Charter Member of the Association of Talent Acquisition Professionals.
Lorne grew up in Brooklyn and moved to DC in 1992. He discovered his superpower is working with people to discover the work they are passionate about. His vision is that we live in a world where all people are given the opportunity to use their full potential through their work.

Lorne and his rock star wife Alicia live in Arlington, Virginia where he loves preparing vegan desserts, running, get in 6:00 am workouts and caring for his basil plant named Ella.
